Business Law is the body of law that applies to the rights, relations, and conduct of persons and businesses engaged in trade and allied industries. Business Law is commonly considered a part of civil law that deals with concerns of both public and private law and comprises laws governing the formation, operation, and regulation of the business. It works to keep businesses, brands, and corporations in order, protecting the rights of a business entity and establishes a set standard for how things should run in an organisation.

This is a regular core course aims to impart basic knowledge of the important business legislation along with relevant case law. This course also provides the brief idea about the framework of Indian Business Laws and orient students, about the legal aspects of business.

This course is common for both B Com and BBA  Semester 1 students
