Social psychology is a branch of psychology. It deals with fundamental concepts like social cognition, social behavior, social influence, social relationships, conformity, prejudice and discrimination, group behavior and group dynamics etc. The course contains major theoretical knowledge of the branch of social psychology and various corresponding research findings. The course enables the students to develop strong disciplinary knowledge in the branch of social psychology and encourages the learners to develop scientific and research-oriented thinking.
