Psychological Testing and Assessment

Course outcomes:

At the end of this programme, the students will:

·       Gain a foundational understanding of psychological assessment and testing concepts to support further studies and research in the field..

·       Demonstrate proficiency in administering psychological tests by understanding the various components, involved, including controlling the physical environment, scheduling assessments, and building rapport with test-takers.

·       Acquire an understanding the test construction process, item writing proficiency, item analysis competence, etc

·       Appreciate the importance of reliability in enduring the consistency and stability of test results.

·       Equip students with the knowledge and skills to critically assess the validity of psychological tests, ensuring that the assessments they use or develop are valid and provide accurate results of the constructor they intended to measure.
