This course is advanced course on concepts of cognitive psychology. Course will cover theories and researches done in the area of cognitive psychology. Topics covered will be required as per the PhD research question related to cognition, memory, problem solving, reasoning and decision making.
Course Objectives
After completing the course the students will be able to:
1. Develop a core and advanced competency in the area of cognitive psychology, focusing on topics such as perception, attention, memory, problem solving, reasoning and decision making
2. To be able to scope and frame the research questions for the PhD research with a broad as well as specific understanding of cognition , neuroscience and application
3. Prepare and elucidate on the research designs and conceptual framework of the research question.
