This course is designed to introduce the students about the basic computer concepts in hardware and software, networking, computer security, programming, database, e-commerce and governance and other emerging technologies such as cloud computing, crowd sourcing, blogs, wiki, multimedia, podcasting and Google applications like surveys and drive utilization. The students will also learn techniques to search, evaluate, validate and cite information found online. Furthermore, they will be introduced to word processing, spreadsheets and databases for data manipulation for business in order to solve the real-world problems.
