Organizational behaviour is the "study of human behaviour in organizational settings, it is the interface between human behaviour and the organization, and the organization itself". It studies the human behaviours in organizations in three levels - micro-level (about the effect of individual behaviours on the dynamics of organizations), meso-level (about the dynamics of work groups and teams in organizations) and macro-level (about the effect of organizational and social structure on human behaviours in organizations). As most of the students of the programme irrespective of their career choices in the discipline of psychology (few cases out of the discipline) will work in an organization in their future, knowledge about the dynamics of human behaviours is very important for a student to work effectively in an organization.
