Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth

Chinmaya Vishwavidyapeeth aims to produce quality research work of high standard and aspires to excel, emerging as a trend-setter in the field of research and development of studies in Sanskrit. This primary objective can be realized only when research constitutes a key factor in the agenda of higher education. With this spirit, the Masters programme in Sanskrit proposes to offer an opportunity to students to learn and execute the rudiments of the research process and mechanism in the fourth semester. As the students are exposed to the research methodology in the second/third semester, they become well-equipped to get a practical experience of doing the actual research. The dissertation course is expected to enable the students to hone their research skills and widen their scope to learn and execute the research programme with an aim to bring out original research work.
