The course is designed to develop a holistic as well as deeper appreciation in students about the legal, social, political and cultural forces that shape today’s global business environment. The idea is not to train business students in legal operations but to make them aware and conscious about their roles, responsibilities and rights as a business entrepreneur, manager, producer, trader or employee in the society.

It discusses, on one hand, various aspects of the legal support systems available to them for both protecting and promoting their business interests and on other hand it also explains the regulatory structures, which monitors and nudges the business operations.

The course is offered as one of the core course, which helps the student to understand the different concepts as well as the process of management accounting. The main aim of this course is to get the students familiarized with the concepts in management accounting. Moreover the emphasis is given to understand and appreciate the role of cost and management accounting in decision making.
