This elective course provides students an understanding how they can make adjustments and manage to cope with stress more effectively. The aim of the course is to help students to gain skills in managing stress.

PS413 Psychodiagnostics

To introduce the psychodiagnostics and develop an understanding of classification and diagnoses of psychological disorders. To impart knowledge on differential diagnostics and the employment of various psychological tests for the assessment of adults and children. The aim of the elective course is to help students to learn using psychological tests for individuals and groups.

·       Tests of Intelligence – WAIS, BKT, VSMS

 

Module 4: Clinical Assessment

Topics:

·       Clinical assessment and uses of intelligence tests

·       Clinical and diagnostic interviewing

·       MMPI, BDI, HAS, HADS

·       Neuropsychological Assessment

Evaluation

·       End Semester Examination: 40%
