Concepts of Manas in Darshana and Classics of Ayurveda

This course is being designed as a core course at CVV for the Ph. D. Student Narayan Baban Shete to get introduced with the Basic but crucial ideas regarding Mind in the Indian Darshanas and Classics of Ayurveda. Since the main topic of research is pertaining to the location of Mind, it is necessary to know about the various opinions given by different Acharyas of Darshanas and Ayurveda.

Research and Publication Ethics

This course has a total of 6 units focusing on the basics of philosophy of science and ethics, research integrity, and publication ethics. Hands-on sessions are designed to identify research misconduct and predatory publications. Indexing and citation databases, open access publications, research metrics (citations, h-index, Impact Factor, etc.) and plagiarism tools will be introduced in this course.
